CHI Franciscan
CHI Franciscan is a Catholic nonprofit health system based in Tacoma, Washington, with a team of more than 12,000 physicians, nurses and staff who provide expert, compassionate medical care at 11 acute care hospitals and over 200 primary and specialty care clinics throughout the greater Puget Sound.
Started in 1891 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia, today CHI Franciscan is one of the largest health systems in Washington. The system is comprised of nearly 1,300 hospital beds and over 4,000 credentialed providers offering cardiovascular care, cancer care, orthopedics and sports medicine, neuroscience, women’s care and other health care services.
Patients of Franciscan Medical Group, CHI Franciscan’s medical group, can use MyChart to view their health summary, request appointments, view test results, request prescription renewals and communicate electronically and securely with their medical care team.

Virginia Mason
Overview
Virginia Mason is a Seattle-based, nonprofit health care system that serves the Pacific Northwest. Virginia Mason includes:
- A 336-bed acute-care hospital.
- A primary and specialty care group practice of more than 480 physicians.
- Regional medical centers throughout the Puget Sound area.
- Bailey-Boushay House, the first skilled-nursing and outpatient chronic care management program in the U.S. built to meet the needs of people with HIV/AIDS.
- Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, their internationally-recognized research arm, known for its breakthroughs in immune system disease research.
- Memorial Family of Services and Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, a 226-bed facility serving the Yakima Valley in Central Washington since 1950. Memorial Family of Services includes primary care practices and specialty care services like cardiac care, cancer care, hospice care, and advanced services for children with special health care needs.
Since 2002, Virginia Mason has applied lean manufacturing principles to health care to eliminate waste, lower cost, and improve quality and patient safety. MyVirginiaMason.org, the patient portal, is an example of the health system’s ongoing commitment to transparency, engagement and enhancing the patient experience. The portal allows patients to request appointments online; view lab, radiology and pathology results; self-schedule select appointments; securely message care team members 24/7; renew prescriptions online; and access summaries of medications, allergies, clinical notes, immunizations and medical issues.

Rainier Health Network solely owned by CHI Franciscan, is located throughout western Washington state but its primary service areas are King, Pierce and Kitsap counties and include leading providers from: CHI Franciscan, CityMD, Franciscan Medical Group, Highline Medical Services Organization, Northwest Physicians Network, The Doctors Clinic and Virginia Mason.

The Polyclinic
The Polyclinic is a leading multispecialty physician practice in the Seattle area. The Polyclinic’s mission is to promote the health of patients by providing personalized health care. Established in 1917 by a small group of independent physicians, The Polyclinic remains physician-led and fosters a unique culture of clinical collaboration. Their medical staff includes more than 240 physicians and advanced practice clinicians at 12 Seattle-area locations. All of their physicians are board-certified in their specialty.

Overview

They also offer local pharmacy services, physical, occupational and speech therapy services, specialty care, and clinic- and hospital-based services. Providers in the SignalHealth network follow the highest quality care standards — focusing on prevention and working with patients to navigate the local health care system.
